View on the concept of Graciousness

I think that graciousness or being gracious means that one is being polite, considerate or helpful.
Unfortunately, Singaporeans are not gracious.
Why some may ask, lets take the "phua chu kang" video for instance what is the message that "he" , the government and SMRT is trying to show.
The video is almost the same as begging someone to do something for you and that is not how graciousness works in society. Graciousness should be automatic or instilled into every young child that is born.
The video also shows another point, that is being considerate is also another thing that should be automatic like standing right in front of the bus or MRT exit , therefore, blocking anyone who is trying to get out of the bus or MRT.
I conclude my reflection by saying that graciousness has to be instilled into young Singaporeans for better time to come as the newer generations take over.

    Well said, Shahidee!

Now, your group task is to find out ways to 'drill' this value into the student community. Good luck!
